Turns Out Woodstock's Flock Safety Audit Logs Aren't Immutable Either
FOIA request reveals organizational audit data not available prior to January 1, 2026
The city’s response from a recently completed FOIA request reveals that Flock Safety cannot provide any of Woodstock’s organizational audit logs from before Jan 1, 2026.
Organizational audit logs are logs that contain records of searches performed by the agency's own operators. This is the most detailed log type, including operator names, license plates searched, and case numbers. It can be downloaded directly from the Flock software as a CSV file.
So much for transparency.
We’ve reached out to the mayor, city council and the city manager’s office for their thoughts on the issue, but so far have not heard anything from Mayor Turner, councilmen Nierman, Seegers and Hanson, or anyone from Roscoe Stelford’s office.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
