A FOIA request in June revealed emails between Police Chief John Lieb and Flock Safety representatives.
They show his apparent disdain for members of the community who spoke out against the proposed Flock Safety contract which was approved 4-3 in February 2026. It also shows that perhaps his due diligence was not performed in a neutral manner befitting a multi-year government contract.
