The city has returned some of our FOIA requests, We’ll be posted more about those soon! Subscribe so you don’t miss out.
Short version:
There appears to be no records of correspondence with other safer alternatvie vendors.

We haven’t heard how the city plans to raise ~21k/yr (excluding the one time $9k grant). That ~54k in 3 yrs of unplanned budget.
